OUI is an IEEE Registration Authority (RA) specific term that is referred to in various standards and may be used to identify companies on the IEEE Public Listing. A MA-L assignment includes an OUI and the right to generate various extended identifiers based on that OUI. It is most often used to create IEEE 802-defined MAC addresses (EUI-48. The MAC Address vendor database consists of a list of mac addresses of all devices manufactured till date. Finding the mac address from this database tells us which manufacturer originally manufactured this device and what is the prefix, postfix of a given mac address, moreover it tells us what country was this device manufactured. Work with a Wi-Fi chip vendor to implement the following HAL methods: IWifiStaIface#setMacAddress: Configures the MAC address of the interface. The default implementation brings the interface down, changes the MAC address, and brings the interface back up. IWifiStaIface#getFactoryMacAddress: Gets the factory MAC of wlan0 using an ioctl call.
